At Orbital Astro ("Orbital", "we", "our", or "us"), we believe that your astrological blueprint, personal reflections, and relationship bonds are private. We operate with complete transparency and user sovereignty.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect information strictly needed to calculate accurate astrological charts and keep your account synced:
- Birth Details: Date, exact time, city, and geographic coordinates used to calculate your rising sign and planetary transits.
- Account Authentication: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your authorized identifier and email address.
- Journal & Reflections: Personal reflections you voluntarily save within your journal.
- Device Permissions (Optional):
- Location: Used on-device to compute current horizon planetary hours.
- Face ID / Biometrics: Used on-device to protect your Synastry Vault.
- Calendar: Used on-device to display planetary retrogrades alongside your schedule. We never sell your schedule or events to advertisers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To compute accurate astronomical planetary positions and natal chart wheels.
- To provide daily horoscopes and AI Oracle insights personalized to your chart.
- To securely sync your profile across your personal Apple devices.
3. Third-Party Partners & Ad Networks
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use third-party advertising tracking networks (such as AdMob or Meta Pixel). All telemetry is strictly functional and performance-oriented.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your account records and cloud-synchronized reflections are protected using industry-standard TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest through our secure Supabase cloud infrastructure.
5. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have full sovereignty over your data. You may delete your account and all associated birth records directly within the Orbital iOS App Settings (Settings > Delete Account), which immediately purges all records.
